How can I eat healthy????Don’t skip meals. Eat real unprocessed foods.

Get familiar with the foods that are compatible with your blood type.
Eat as much  whole “live foods” as possible.
Remember that cooked, fried, microwaved, or frozen foods are “dead” and have no enzymes.
Eat balanced meals.

Choose a protein as the main nutrient of your meal.  (A good portion would be one that is about the same size as the flat part of your hand)
Add two healthy carbs such as non-starchy veggies, each the same portion size as your protein.

Add healthy fats.

Eat healthy snacks.

Eat solid foods.  ie.  a fresh fruit is much better than fruit juice.

Drink enough clean purified water.
A good rule of thumb is to take your weight in pounds, divide by two.
Now you know about how many ounces of water you probably need.
It is best to drink your water a half hour before meals or two hours later to avoid diluting gastric juices and enzymes needed to assure good digestion.

Avoid:
Nicotine
Refined sugar
Artificial sweeteners
Ilicit drugs
MSG, preservatives
Fake fats

Fasting

Fasting is often used as a detoxification method, as it is one of the quickest ways to increase elimination of wastes and enhance the healing processes of the body.

Therapeutic fasting is probably one of the oldest known therapies.

My favorite way to fast is to go on a three to four day fresh juice fast. (consider using mostly your Blood-Type Specific “Beneficial” and some “Neutral” fresh fruits and vegetables)

This juice fast consists of four 8 to 12 oz fresh juice meals spread through-out the day.

While on a juice fast,  individuals typically experience an increased sense of well-being, renewed energy, clearer thought, and a sense of purity.

To further aid in detoxification during the fast:

1. Take a high-potency multiple vitamin and mineral formula to provide general support.

2. Take 1000 mg of Vitamin C three times a day.

3. Take a lower bowel cleanse herbal formula at bedtime.

It is a good idea to begin your short fast on a weekend or during a time period when adequate rest can be assured. The more rest, the better results, as energy can be directed toward healing instead of other body functions.

ie. Take an extra nap each day. Curl up with a good book or movie.

Also, drink at least four 8 oz. glasses of pure water each day during the fast.

Avoid coffee, canned, bottled or frozen juice, or soft drinks.

Herbal, non-sweetened teas can be assumed.

Exercise is usually not encouraged while fasting. It is good to conserve energy and allow maximum healing. Short walks or mild stretching is okay.

Body temperatures may drop during a fast as the body’s metabolic rate slows down. Stay warm.

Some people like to eat only fresh raw foods the day before a fast begins, avoiding refined foods. And then when the fast is broken, they like to introduce solids gradually by limiting portions, not overeating, eating slowly and chewing thoroughly.
